Connecting with your guides and loved ones is a natural ability that all of us have; however, sometimes, it can be tricky to understand how to connect or recognise when it is happening.

First and foremost, learning to connect with your Spirit Guides is a unique and personal journey. No two experiences are the same, nor should they be. We are all individuals with our own paths and personalities…our Spirit Guides are no different.

The purpose of this little exercise is to receive some insight about yourself. The idea is to simply choose what colour is really standing out for you in the picture. It is important to go with the one that grabs your attention and not necessarily the colour you like. You need to be honest with yourself and perhaps these little insights might help you discover what area you need to be paying attention to, working on and/or healing.

The work I do with Spirit is always special, but sometimes it is when you get to revisit a connection it can remind of how truly unique it is. 

When in the middle of an event or even in a private session, you can be so caught in the 'action' (the channeling), that you only really remember snippets of what came through. After all, the message is for someone else and really has no direct meaning to the medium in question so we stay with the flow and keep going. Therefore, it is when the client or recipient takes time out to message and make us aware of what was said and what it meant, that the power of this work can really sink in. When I awoke this morning, I noticed my little man (who is six), lying there in between my wife and me. He has developed the habit of jumping into our bed in the early hours of the morning. Now I confess I am always at odds with myself about this habit. On one hand I believe that we need to get firm and puts the boundary in place to stop him from doing it so often. Then on the other I cannot help looking at his beautiful innocent little sleeping face and start to question just how many more mornings are we going to have like this? To me those are the moments that we must not take for granted. After all, when he does wake, we have the most spell bounding conversations.

We laid there and he places one hand around my wife, one hand around me, pats us lightly as he looks up at the ceiling and softly says, “Ahhhh…my family. Love you mumma. This card represents aspects of loss, regret and sorrow. These emotions arise more when we have high hopes and anticipation in area of our life, and these do not come to fruition. As the card shows there is a lady that is clutching onto what is broken and is already lost. If this card was calling you may be experiencing these emotions. What it is really asking you to do is not to dwell on what you have lost but recognize that the situation and feelings are what they are. Some of you may recall way back in July, Joshua Fox from The Daily Mail interviewed me to get my take on an intriguing story surrounding David Campbell’s four-year-old son Billy who believed he was Diana, the “People’s” Princess who died in a car accident in 1997.

David Campbell, son of legendary Jimmie Barnes, went public with the story in the Sunday Telegraph’s Stellar Magazine, explaining that his son Billy first identified as Diana when he was two years old.
