The work I do with Spirit is always special, but sometimes it is when you get to revisit a connection it can remind of how truly unique it is. 

When in the middle of an event or even in a private session, you can be so caught in the 'action' (the channeling), that you only really remember snippets of what came through. After all, the message is for someone else and really has no direct meaning to the medium in question so we stay with the flow and keep going. Therefore, it is when the client or recipient takes time out to message and make us aware of what was said and what it meant, that the power of this work can really sink in. Here is a case in point, with a lovely lady named Rosemary that messaged in with her story and her connection.

When I awoke this morning, I noticed my little man (who is six), lying there in between my wife and me. He has developed the habit of jumping into our bed in the early hours of the morning. Now I confess I am always at odds with myself about this habit. On one hand I believe that we need to get firm and puts the boundary in place to stop him from doing it so often. Then on the other I cannot help looking at his beautiful innocent little sleeping face and start to question just how many more mornings are we going to have like this? To me those are the moments that we must not take for granted. After all, when he does wake, we have the most spell bounding conversations.

Take for instance the other morning when we all started to wake. We laid there and he places one hand around my wife, one hand around me, pats us lightly as he looks up at the ceiling and softly says, “Ahhhh…my family. Love you mumma. This card represents aspects of loss, regret and sorrow. These emotions arise more when we have high hopes and anticipation in area of our life, and these do not come to fruition. As the card shows there is a lady that is clutching onto what is broken and is already lost. If this card was calling you may be experiencing these emotions. What it is really asking you to do is not to dwell on what you have lost but recognize that the situation and feelings are what they are. Once you can accept what has happened only then can you start the process of overcoming the hardships and misfortunes you may have experienced.

We are all feeling the affects of the current COVID-19 outbreak and there are certainly some more affects to follow in the coming months. While this is obvious, I wanted to talk to you about the not so obvious opportunities that these uncertain times may present. These include letting go of what is no longer serving you and watching old behavioural patterns. 

It is amazing how many people have said 2020 is going to be the year. Well it certainly is, just not in the way people were hoping and thinking. I have always said it’s not going to be 2020, but 2021 that is going to be the year were everything is going to become crystallized and we can really feel the harmony of the energy moving us into this new decade. There have been a few key messages that Spirit have been relaying over the past few months and these are very much in line with the events that surround us now.

As you can imagine the subject of grief is something I am asked about on a regular basis. I guess you could say it’s part of the job description really, it comes with the territory. But what if I told you grief could be the very thing shutting down that longed for connection with your loved one?

There’s no doubt about it – grief is a bitch! OK. Grief is a really tough emotion to deal with because it never really goes away. That’s the really hard part.

The way I visualise grief myself is that it’s like a great big hallway with many doors. These doors represent the myriad of memories you have of your loved one. It’s a bit of a gamble when you open one of these doors because you never really know how you are going to feel. You may open one door and feel happy and be able to smile at the memory, while another door on another day could be so painful you dissolve into tears.

So, there’s no doubt it’s a tricky thing to deal with.

“HOW LONG AFTER SOMEONE HAS PASSED BEFORE YOU CAN COMMUNICATE WITH THEM?”

This is one question that I have been asked a lot recently and is a very common one when you work in this profession so I thought it best that I share my thoughts on this topic and try to explain it so one might have a better understanding.

The short answer to this question is obviously answering in terms of a time frame, but while I will address this I will also cover other areas that can have an affect on your loved ones ability to communicate with you once they have passed over.

An absolute minimum time you should wait before seeking to communicate with your passed loved one is 3 months! However, it would be wise to try and wait for 6 months.
